Rajgir (Bihar): International athlete Akanksha Kishor Vyavhare won a gold medal in the ongoing 7th Khelo India Youth Games in Rajgir. This is Akanksha’s second gold medal in the Khelo India Youth Games.
Akanksha Vyavhare is currently training at the Sports Authority of India Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. She had to settle for fourth place in the Khelo India Youth Games held in Chennai last year due to an injury. But this year, Akanksha has overcome her injury and won the gold medal once again.
Akanksha Vyavhare has received guidance from Chhatra Vidyalaya Principal Praveen Vyavhare, international coaches Trupti Parashar and Vijay Rohila. Jai Bhavani Gymnasium President Dr. Vijay Patil, Mohan Gaikwad, Dr. Sunil Bagrecha, Prof. Datta Shimpi, Chhatre Vidyalaya President P J Dindorkar, Secretary Dinesh Dharwadkar, Directors Nana Kulkarni, B S Kulkarni, Prasad Panchwagh, Deputy Principal Sandeep Deshpande, Supervisor Potdar S S, Maharashtra Weightlifting Association Secretary Santosh Sinhasane and President Sudhir Mhalaskar have congratulated him.
