Inter-College Sports Competition organized at Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science inaugurated by Principal Manjiri Bhalerao, Sports Director Kavita Kholgade
Mumbai: The Senior Inter-College Competition was inaugurated at Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science, Juhu, with great enthusiasm and excitement by Dr Kavita Kholgade, Director Sports and Physical Education, SNDTWU and Manjiri Bhalerao, Principal.
The inaugural ceremony began with a warm welcome to all the participating colleges of SNDT Women’s University, Maharashtra. The event was attended by dignitaries, faculty and student representatives. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp and speeches highlighting the importance of sports and cultural competitions to inculcate discipline, teamwork and leadership among the students.
The competitions included various events including chess, yoga, table tennis, wrestling and kabaddi, in which students from various affiliated colleges actively participated. The atmosphere was enthusiastic, full of energy, encouragement and healthy competition.
The opening day set the tone for the upcoming events, brought together talent and sportsmanship, and strengthened the sense of unity among SNDTWU organizations.
