A competition that gives great inspiration to the player
The fact that state-level basketball competitions have been organized in rural areas for the last 43 years on the occasion of the memorial day of Late Guru Bapusaheb Zapke and the national competition from this year is a great inspiration to every player. The one who keeps the fight and passion on the field is truly successful in every test of life. Winning and losing in sports are a part of some moments. However, loyalty on the field and love for the game make you truly successful. This competition is proving that a player from a rural area can reach the national level. I am from the Mandeshi belt. We have less rainfall, so we have to face numerous problems. The important reason why I reached the international level despite all such problems is that I got encouragement through competitions from time to time. I am rightfully proud that there was such an indoor stadium in a rural area like Sangola. So I think that winning on the field is the success of life.

If you have determination and perseverance, you can reach the international level

While watching the national level basketball matches organized on the occasion of the commemoration of the freedom fighter in a rural area like Sangola, I experienced what it means to have my eyes wide open. So I am very happy that the Zhapke family invited me. My journey to the position of captain of the world champion Indian Kho-Kho team, overcoming various difficulties, only shows you that if we have determination and perseverance in our hearts, we can reach the international level through sports.
