
Fransalian Dominates for the Third Consecutive Year!
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar : Fransalian School of Excellence once again proved its dominance by winning the Under-17 Boys’ Inter-School Badminton Championship, jointly organized by the District Sports Office and the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation.
The competition was held on October 10 at the Bansilalnagar Badminton Court. In an exciting final match against The Jain International School, the Fransalian team showcased outstanding performances.
Star player Udayan Deshmukh secured victory in the singles match with a commanding performance, while the doubles pair of Udayan Deshmukh and Ved Kolhade triumphed in the doubles match, leading the school to the championship title.
With this impressive win, the school team has qualified for the Divisional Level Tournament. This victory marks Fransalian’s third consecutive championship, highlighting the players’ consistency, dedication, and the expert guidance of their coaches.

Captain Udayan Deshmukh, Ved Kolhade, Arnav Totla, Sairaj Somvanshi, and Namish Degavkar.
The team received excellent coaching and guidance from physical education teachers Arun Rathod and Ashraf Pathan.

Fransalian’s pride, Udayan Deshmukh, is currently recognized as a national-level ranking badminton player. He has achieved remarkable success in various state and national ranking tournaments and presently holds All India Rank 3 in the Under-15 category.
His consistent training, fitness discipline, and passion for the sport make him a true inspiration for young aspiring players, said sports teacher Arun Rathod.
