पुणे : आगामी महाराष्ट्र ऑलिम्पिक असोसिएशनच्या निवडणूक व कारभारबाबत गैरसमज पसरवले जात आहे. सर्व आरोप खोटे असून त्‍यात तथ्य नाही. आगामी चार वर्षासाठी म्हणजे सन २०२५ ते २०२९ सालापर्यंत असोसिएशनच्या नियमावलीनुसार निवडणूक घेणेसाठी माजी जिल्हा न्यायाधीश यांची नियुक्ती करण्यात आलेली आहे. निवडणुकीतील हरकतींवर कार्यकारी मंडळ निर्णय घेतील असे महाराष्ट्र ऑलिम्पिक असोसिएशनचे महासचिव नामदेव शिरगावकर यांनी पत्रकाद्वारे कळवले आहे.
महाराष्ट्र ऑलिम्पिक असोसिएशनच्या पदाधिकारी व कार्यकारीणी समिती सदस्यांची निवडणूक २ नोव्हेंबर २०२५ रोजी दुपारी ४ वाजता रॉयल कॅनॉट बोट क्लब, बोट क्लब रोड, पुणे येथे होणार आहे. महाराष्ट्र ऑलिम्पिक असोसिएशनच्या (नोंदणी क्रमांक एफ ६१६२ मुंबई) ही एक सार्वजनीक न्यास संस्था असून, असोसिएशनच्या घटनेनुसार दर चार वर्षानी या संस्थेची निवडणूक घेणे आवश्यक असते. मागील पदाधिकारी व कार्यकारीणीचा कार्यकाल संपत आलेला असून असोसिएशनच्या नियमावली प्रमाणे पुढील कार्यकारिणी निवडीसाठी संस्थेची निवडणूक विहित कालावधीत होणे आवश्यक असते, त्याअन्वये निवडणूक होत आहे.
महाराष्ट्र ऑलिम्पिक असोसिएशनशी संबंधित नसणाऱ्या लोकांनी संघटनेबाबत गैरसमज पसरविण्याचा प्रयत्‍न सुरू केला आहे. यात काय तथ्य नाही. पुराव्या अभावी खोटे आरोप करण्यात आले आहेत. संघटनेची प्रतिमा त्रयस्‍थ लोकांकडून मलीन होत असल्‍याबाबत संघटनेच्‍या बैठकीत निर्णय होणार आहे.
माजी खासदार रामदास तडस यांनी पत्रकारांशी बोलताना केलेले सर्व आरोप खोटे आहेत. गेल्‍या पाच वर्षांज सलग ३ राष्ट्रीय क्रीडा स्‍पर्धेत महाराष्ट्र देशात अव्‍वल राहिला आहे. सर्वसाधारण विजेतेपदाच्‍या हॅटट्रिकचा विक्रम महाराष्ट्राने केला आहे. महाराष्ट्र ऑलिम्पिक असोसिएशन बाबत खेळाडूंची एकही तक्रार नाही. मात्र तथाकथित वादग्रस्‍त क्रीडा संघटकांनी वैयक्‍तिक आकासापोटी खोटे आरोप केले आहेत. याचाचा महाराष्ट्र ऑलिम्पिक असोसिएशन निषेध करीत आहे, असे सरचिटणीस नामदेव शिरगांवकर यांनी सांगितले.
सदर सन २०२५ ते २०२९ सालापर्यंत महाराष्ट्र ऑलिम्पिक असोसिएशनच्या पदाधिकारी व कार्यकारीणी समिती सदस्यांची निवडणूकीस २२ क्रीडा राज्य संघटना मतदानास पात्र आहेत तर १) महाराष्ट्र बॉक्सिंग असोसिएशन, २) हॅण्डबॉल असोसिएशन महाराष्ट्र, ३) महाराष्ट्र स्टेट कबड्डी असोसिएशन, ४) स्विमिंग असोसिएशन ऑफ महाराष्ट्र व ५) महाराष्ट्र राज्य कुस्तिगीर परिषद या पाच राज्य संघटना खालील कारणाने अपात्र होत आहेत.

Hi, I’m Chitra from Tamilnadu expressing my unwavering support for Namdev sir in light of the recent protest against him. As we know that through out his service all our players are getting opportunities to play their game even world wide. No body has taken initiative for Para players, but he did & achieved in recent times. False allegations against him not only damage the reputation of the individual, but also distract the players opportunities if we select wrong leader. Only after his leadership Taekwondo in India is emerging like anything. He is showing his dedications, honesty and betterment to Tarkwondo always with transparency, fairness and responsibility.
So we stand with Mr. Namdev and believe in his leadership. The truth will prevail and justice will be served.
